Baby Shaker Card

onsdag 30 september 2015

Hello crafters!
This is a new baby card for a new little girl, a granddaughter who is very dear to me:) I tried to make a rattle using Spellbinders Nestabilities Heart Circles and attaching a baby image from a Inkido cut out sheet in the background.

I filled the shaker with a few gold sequins. Then I designed the handle by free hand, cut it out and glued the pieces together. I die cut the oval behind using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Floral Ovals die, and used a bunch of pattern paper scraps from Pion Design and Inkido. On this card, I also wanted some flowers, ribbons and some bling, I want it to be sweet and cute:)
That´s it from me today, thanks for visiting my blog!

Christmas Greetings

fredag 25 september 2015

Hello everyone!
Oops, Friday again ... where did the week go? Well, I don´t know but anyway, I want to share a Christmas card with you today.

I have used the Birds&Reindeer embossing folder set from Sizzix to create the background (great texture) and the reindeer. The image comes from an old cut-out sheet of paper and the sentiment was made with a Vilda Stamps stamp. I choose to cut out some white branches with Tims Holiday Greens die and added them together with flowers and berries topped with embossing paste. And then...glitter, it´s Christmas:)
Okay that´s all from me. Have a great weekend!

Christmas Wreath

söndag 20 september 2015

Hello crafters!
Today I have a new card for Muse:ChristmasVisions to show you, I love Betty Wrights card so I tried to make a similar.

First I stamped a background wreath using Distress Markers and a Reprint stamp from the Julflicka set. Then I let my die cut machine work and used the Memory Box Frostyville Wreath die, Tim Holtz Alterations Holiday Greens dies, Poppy Stamps Small Blooming Poinsettia die and Mandys sentiment die. I mounted them all as shown. To finish of, I added a few pearls and a little gold glitter for sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Autumn Leaves

fredag 18 september 2015

Hello again!
It's time for Autumn here with me, whatever one thinks about it, it´s nothing to do about. Anyway, I love those leaves...topped with Glossy Accents they get so amazing rain-drenched colors.

I used Tim Holtz Alterations Tattered Leaves die and some Distress inks to create the leaves. After they were cut out, I crumpled them together before I added the Glossy Accents. The same inks were used for the background. The sentiment is from K-designs and was white heat embossed. To finish of the card, I added a few golden sequins.
Thanks so much for your visit here on the blog today!

I Wish You Flowers

tisdag 15 september 2015

Hi there!
I´m just quickly stopping by to share a card I made for the latest Less is More challenge which is about One Layer cards and also have a Wishing theme. I had intended to use that particular word, but then it turned out that it didn´t fit in my tiny square. So I had to find another stamp which was better suited (Congrats), I hope it goes anyway.

I used the Blooming Buds stamp set from STAMPlorations and my Copic pens to colour up the image. Then I made a embossed frame around it using one of the Spellbinders Nestabilities Gold Squares One dies.

I think you can see the little sparkle that I added to the flowers.
Okay...that´s all from me today.

Wonderful Handmade Paper

söndag 13 september 2015

Hello crafters!
I´m back again and this time, I have a really simple card in a wonderful material to show. This paper is handmade and therefore it has wonderful structure with rough edges and creamy color.

I die cut a heart on the front, then I folded and stitched it together with a white inner paper. Next I added a die cut Feather from Spellbinders which was sponged with Black and Vintage Photo DI, and using the Tim´s Celebrate dies I cut out the words Happy Birthday in black CS.

On the inner paper I used a heart as a stencil and stamped inside it with a Inkido text/butterfly stamp. To finish the card, I added a bling stone on the feather.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Sunday!

Words Of Wisdom

fredag 11 september 2015

Hello crafters & happy Friday!
Today I show a birthday card that I have made to a man. "It's not the years in your life that counts, but the life in your years".

I found the K- designs book paper and decided to use it as inspiration. Using the Crafters Companion Basket Weawe embossing folder and some Distress inks I created the panel behind the tag.

The sentiment on the tag is from an old Slöjd-Detaljer stamp set. Next I used my new Spellbinders Feathers dies and cut out three sizes, added gold and copper embossing pouder to parts of them and heated in. I finished of with natural colored ribbon/twine and a brad.
That´s it for today...thanks for stopping by!

onsdag 9 september 2015

Hi everyone!
I hope you've had a good week so far, a god thing for me is that my cold has become a little better:) Here is one more Christmas card because I've had Christmas in my mind all the time after my last post here on the blog, ha, ha...

I really like the natural colors and tryed to make a wintry scene for my crazy bird. Besides the bird stamp and die, I also used a Mama Elephant border die, Tim Holtz Holiday Greens dies, paper and cone stamp from Panduro, Vilda Stamps sentiment and a "today" paper clip from Freckled Fawn.
Thanks for stopping by - have a wonderful rest of the week!

Peace For Christmas

måndag 7 september 2015

Hi friends!
Just a quick post from me today, I've got a cold and I feel not so alert. My card has been inspired by Kimberly Wiener over at Muse:ChristmasVisions...

...here is my take...

I used an old Reprint stamp to create the trees, both as a stamp and as a stencil. The stamped one is adhered with 3D foam. I used Old Gold embossing pouder from Stampendous for the bird and tree (love that pouder) and the sentiment is from Bildmålarna.
Okay, that's all from me today...thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Birgit

I Wish You Love

fredag 4 september 2015

Welcome back crafty friends!
Today´s share is a christening card made with the Rectangle Pull Card die from Elisabeth craft designs.

To create this card, I first embossed the cardstock with a Cuttelbug embossing folder. Next I used the Baby Boy paper from You Do and cut out some details that I wanted to use. And for some fun, I made a window where the baby can peek out.

I also used the Baby Script die from Memory Box, and the Soft Caress die from Penny Black to create the lovely heartflower. I finished of with a few gold sequins.

I apologize for the translation but I hope you understand the lovely poem Carin Hertzberg has written.

"We wish you no gold, my child
nor money and power.
We wish you the courage to be yourself
and stand up for what you have said.
We wish you not a stone-free road,
but the power to walk the road.
We wish you love in abundance
and friends to trust on."

A Gift Chosen With Care

onsdag 2 september 2015

Hi everyone!
I have one more gift box to show that I have recycled/upcycled. This time, I wanted to give it a bit more classic and elegant look.

Oh, I love these red berries...I want to eat them up:)

I used stuff from my stash, and a sentiment stamp from Vilda Stamps that I gold heat embossed. The leaves were cut with the Fresh Foliage die from Memory Box.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful week!
Hugs, Birgit
